SELICHOT
September 4th at  8 PM
Home of Ava and David Salman

Known as the evening of forgiveness, when we ask God to forgive us, Selichot is a brief, soul-deep service that reminds us that only with a sobering teshuvah will we grow our humanity.

We will gather for Selichot on Saturday September 4th, 8:00 PM at the home of Ava and David Salman, located at 111 Calle Paisano. Click here for map   Using workbooks as a beginning journal for the High Holidays. We'll begin by asking ourselves what we want to work on between us and God, us and others, and with ourselves.

Tashlich means to cast off.  We symbolically cast off our sins by throwing bits of bread into water on the first day of Rosh HaShanah.  The location will be announced, but plan to come for this special water side service.  And if you have a shofar, bring it!
